What a Sunday.
In Maryland, the Washington Commanders (6–2) got an all-time ending against the Chicago Bears (4–3), winning on a 52-yard Hail Mary pass from Jayden Daniels to Noah Brown. It keeps Washington in first place in the NFC East, while the Bears remain in last place in the NFC North.
Elsewhere, the Cleveland Browns (2–6) pulled off the biggest upset of the season, hanging on to beat the Baltimore Ravens (5–3) at home behind Jameis Winston. A couple of NFC teams also flexed their muscles against their AFC opponents.
At Paycor Stadium, the Philadelphia Eagles (5–2) hung 37 points on the Cincinnati Bengals (3–5), including 27 in the second half to secure a key victory, staying close to the Washington Commanders in the NFC East. Meanwhile, the Bengals continued to sink in the AFC playoff picture, with a must-win looming against the Las Vegas Raiders next Sunday.
Then there’s the Detroit Lions (6–1), who buried the Tennessee Titans (1–6) under an avalanche of points. Detroit scored 52 points before throttling back in the fourth quarter, helping to gain a game on the Minnesota Vikings (5–2), who lost on Thursday night to the Los Angeles Rams (3–4).
In the late window, the Kansas City Chiefs (7–0) handled the Las Vegas Raiders (2–6), while the Buffalo Bills (6–2) thrashed the Seattle Seahawks (4–4) in the Pacific Northwest.
On Sunday night, the San Francisco 49ers (4–4) outlasted the Dallas Cowboys (3–4), putting them in a three-way tie atop the NFC West.

My take: San Francisco (4–4) goes into its bye week with a huge victory, beating Dallas (3–4) despite being down at halftime. Brock Purdy was decent, going for 260 yards and a touchdown. Of course, the entire game changed in the third quarter when the Niners scored 21 consecutive points to take a lead they never relinquished. As for the Cowboys, they’ve now dropped two straight with a trip to Atlanta on deck.
Stock up: George Kittle had an enormous night on national television, going for six catches and 128 yards on National Tight End Day. Kittle was only targeted seven times but made the most of his opportunities, putting him over 500 yards for the season.
Stock down: Dallas has struggled to run the ball this season, and did so again Sunday night. The Cowboys rushed for 2.9 yards per carry, with Ezekiel Elliott going for 3.4 YPC on 34 yards to lead the team.
Up Next: Cowboys at Falcons, 1 p.m. ET Nov. 3; Bye
