There are some stunning goals to be picked from for the 2024 award, including Mohammed Kudus' solo effort for West Ham against Freiburg and Jaden Philogene's Rabona while playing for Hull City. Algeria's Yassine Benzia will receive plenty of votes for his sublime self-assisted bicycle kick against South Africa in March, a goal straight out of the FIFA Street video game.

Garnacho is aiming to become the first Premier League player since Erik Lamela in 2021 to win the Puskas Award. The English top-flight has seen plenty of success in recent years – Olivier Giroud (2017), Mohamed Salah (2018) and Son-Heung min (2020) have all triumphed for their fine goals.
