Leeds United have a number of players out on loan at the moment, and it doesn’t seem that many of them have a future at the club.
We’ve recently seen reports that have claimed Lewie Coyle will be out of the door in January, and Laurens de Bock has admitted he could leave permanently too.
However, one man whose future has been somewhat up in the air in recent times is Pawel Cibicki, but on Tuesday evening we finally got an update on his future.
What’s been said then?
Phil Hay was hosting a post-match Q&A session with The Athletic after United’s 1-0 win against Reading at the Madejski Stadium.
Strangely, one fan wanted to use this opportunity to ask about Cibicki, and the journalist delivered a very short and decisive answer on the 25-year-old.
“They certainly don’t want him back.”

End of a disappointing saga
You can imagine that many of the Elland Road faithful would be more than happy to wash their hands of Cibicki, but you can’t help but feel disappointed by his career in Yorkshire.
The attacker seemed to have all the potential in the world as he was being watched by the likes of Manchester United, Ajax and Napoli during his time at Malmo.
It seemed something of a coup when Leeds signed him a few months after those reports were published.
However, just seven league appearances later it seems as if his career at Elland Road is over, and while no tears are likely to be shed at this news, it’s certainly disappointing to admit that Cibicki will never make it at the club.
In other news, many Leeds fans were left frustrated by one man after their win over Reading on Tuesday
