According to , the Reds are not ready to reduce their demand of €60m for Nunez, despite strong interest from Italian champions Napoli. Nunez has been deemed surplus to Arne Slot's needs ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, but the striker could stay back at Anfield if the deadlock does not resolve quickly.
