Newcastle could only manage a draw at home to Burnley in the English Premier League on Wednesday night, stretching their run of matches without a win at home in the top-flight to eight.
The Magpies looked destined to secure all three points when Jamaal Lascelles headed home from a Kenedy corner, but Burnley persisted and were rewarded in the 85th minute when Karl Darlow conceded an own goal after initially saving Sam Vokes’ close-range header.
