Jack Grealish is a topic of discussion for some Spurs fans following his impressive start to life back in the Premier League.
The club has been linked with the midfielder as recently as March, and that is what the supporters have been reminded of. Judging by the reactions of some they are disappointed he didn’t join, as they have liked what they’ve seen.
However, there is some difference of opinion between supporters, with others saying he wouldn’t change the team much nor turn around their current fortunes, and therefore he isn’t worth thinking about.
The Villa man is likely a talking point now because of the performance he put in at the weekend against Brighton, while Tottenham continue to falter against bottom-of-the-table Watford.
He helped turn the game around with a goal and an assist, continuing to act as a talisman just as he did last season when he had a big hand in the club’s promotion, with six goals and seven assists in the Championship.
If he continues his current level of displays he could be in with a chance of making the England squad – with Gareth Southgate casting an eye over him at the weekend – and Spurs could live to regret their failure to sign the 24-year-old.
Nevertheless, some sections of the fanbase are still to be convinced by him, though the reactions have very much been mixed, as seen below.
